Silent Hill f upholds the tradition to giving players an option to customize the look of the main protagonist with alternative outfits and costumes. Players have an option to change up Hinako’s look to wear a different outfit throughout the playthrough, which will eventually make its way into the cutscenes too. However, the outfit select is limited, depending on which edition of the game you’ve purchased. Let’s check out all Hinako’s outfits that players can use in Silent Hill f.
All Hinako Costumes in Silent Hill f (Outfits)
There are a total of three different costumes (outfits) players can equip for Hinako in Silent Hill f. While two of the costumes are slight variations of one another, the third one drastically changes Hinako’s appearance, adding a splash of pink to an otherwise dreadful journey through a monster-filled nightmare.

What is the Best Costume to Wear in Silent Hill f?
The costumes (outfits) available in Silent Hill f are for mere cosmetic purposes, and do not alter the gameplay in any way. So, players can pick and choose any costume for Hinako to wear during their playthrough of the game.
Hinako will show up in cutscenes wearing the costume you select.
With that said, players can try going with the default Hinako look for their first playthrough, to experience the game’s narrative as they’ve seen in trailers and other promotional materials. Since Silent Hill f requires players to complete multiple playthroughs of the game via NG+ to get other endings, they can use the alternative outfits in the runs to keep things fresh.
How to Change Costumes in Silent Hill f
There are two main ways to change costumes (outfits) in Silent Hill f.
- New Game: Players can select a costume for Hinako when they either start a new game, or new game plus (NG+). The option shows up right after you select the difficulty settings for Silent Hill f.
- Hokora Shrine: You also have an option to change Hinako’s outfit during your playthrough by visiting any Hokora shrine in the game. Once you interact with a shrine, choose the “Change Costume” option and you can switch up Hinako’s look in a few clicks.
