Amazon is currently offering discounts on several Xbox Wireless Controllers, including a 31 percent drop on the Shock Blue model, now priced at £44.95.

The lowest price right now goes to the Robot White and Carbon Black controllers, which have fallen to just under £40, around a third off the recently increased RRP.

These discounts appear to be part of a stock clear-out ahead of broader pricing changes. As of 1st May, Microsoft officially increased the RRP of Xbox consoles and accessories across the UK, Europe, and the US.

The Xbox Series X now costs £499.99, up £20 (although still purchasable at its original RRP) while the 512GB Series S jumped by £50 to £299.99.

The price rise comes as Microsoft continues to adjust its strategy amid “rising development costs” and “shifting market conditions”. A spokesperson told Eurogamer the changes were made “with careful consideration” and confirmed that some upcoming first-party titles will also see price increases: up to $79.99 in the US, while UK pricing for those games is yet to be confirmed.
